Lean-Philippe Gibaud created GEOLITH in 2016 to develop an innovative process for lithium production. Graduated from the Institut National Polytechnique de Grenoble, he has notably worked within the Suez and Schlumberger groups.
Throughout his career, he has sold and managed large industrial projects in the water treatment, geothermal, mining and oil sectors. Particularly, Jean-Philippe managed the company that carried out a large part of the geothermal drilling in France. It is on this occasion that he realized the interest of extracting lithium from geothermal waters.
